Rosalie Peak | Mount Blue Sky Wilderness
July 2019
With the car parked at the Deer Creek Trailhead and clouds in the forecast, I set out to explore the beauty of the Tanglewood Trail and beyond. The initial portion of the trail led me through dense forest and along the creek. As I ascended, the path gradually became more rugged, with rocky switchbacks demanding more careful navigation. After several miles of steady hiking, the trail reached the tree line, and soon after, Pegmatite Points came into view.
